All tuition is due by the first lesson of each month.

If tuition is not paid within the first week of the month, there will be a $10.00 late fee. 

Tuition may be paid by cash, check, Venmo or by credit card online. 

A convenience fee of $1.00 will be charged for paying by Venmo.

Credit card transaction fees are automatically added to online payments.

There will be a $20.00 charge on all returned checks.

Monthly tuition is calculated based on a 9-month contract year. (September - May). Tuition is the same amount each month. Holidays and shorter or longer months are figured into the 9-month contract period. There is no credit for classes missed. Classes cancelled by Moving Art Academy for legitimate reasons will be rescheduled.

New students are required to pay a non-refundable $20.00 registration fee due before their first day of class.

BALLET CLASSESES
Form-fitting clothing is required: leotard & tights

Optional: skirts, spandex shorts or leggings

Male dancers: fitted black pants & white t-shirt

TAP & JAZZ CLASSES
Any combination of leotard, tights, shorts,
leggings, joggers, form-fitting t-shirts or tank tops

Excessively baggy clothing is not appropriate

MODERN CLASSES
Clothing that is comfortable to move in

ALL CLASSES
Hair should be kept off of neck and out of face.
Please do not wear jewelry.
Jewelry can be a hazard and distracting while dancing

Chewing gum and food are not permitted at the studio.

2026/27 Season Costume Fees

Pre-K Classes - $100.00

Elementary Classes - $125.00

Nonstop Dance Companies - $150.00

Renaissance Festival Performers - $25.00

Costume Fees include tights, required accessories and props, if applicable.

A $75.00 costume deposit is due on or before November 1, 2026.
Final costume balances are due on or before February 1, 2027.

​The studio has used and new shoes available to purchase for your convenience.

If you have a pair of used shoes, you may trade them for another size of the same shoe.

For new shoes, students can be measured at the studio, allowing you to order the appropriately sized shoes from our online dance shoe and clothing retailer.

​A 10% discount is given for a full year’s tuition paid by September 30, 2026.

Full year’s tuition may only be paid with cash or check.

The second student and each additional student in the same family receives a $5.00 discount off of monthly tuition.

The family discount and 10% full year tuition discount may not be combined.

Consistent class attendance is necessary for the
personal progress of the student and class morale.

If a student is ill, please keep them at home.

Please call, text or email when a student will miss class.

There are no refunds for missed classes.
